Barnardo’s has been successfully providing specialist fostering services
in the North West for over 30 years.
In order to continue with this success
we need more foster carers.
We offer our carers a weekly payment between £300 - £520
depending upon the needs and age of the child;
the support of a dedicated professional team;
We need foster carers who can provide both long term and short term family experiences for children.
We need carers who can look after children who have been sexually exploited
or trafficked.
We need carers who can look after Disabled child and offer them the experience
of family life until they reach adulthood?
These children have experienced pain, distress and confusion. All these children
need stability, care and a safe environment in which to thrive.
Experience of working directly with children and young people would be an advantage, but not essential.
