Keswick School
Keswick School is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed academy, situated in the Lake District. In our most recent Ofsted inspection we were rated outstanding under every category and teaching and learning was regarded as exceptional. We have high expectations of all our pupils and have maintained high standards of academic achievement over many years. Pupils are friendly and well behaved and our staff ‘go the extra mile’ to support them.
We are seeking to appoint talented and enthusiastic teachers who will support pupils to become better independent learners and get involved in the wider life of the school.

The English Department is very successful and has a large uptake at A level. The ability to teach English across the age and ability range at Key Stage 3, GCSE and AS/A2 English Language, English Literature or Media Studies is essential.
