TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR
Starting salary £30K
Based in Windermere with extensive travel both UK and worldwide
MTCS Ltd specialise in training and competence management for the offshore industry, with a specific focus on Underwater Technology and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV).
As part of our strategic plans to meet the increasing market demand for training we wish to recruit 2 full time instructors to join our existing team. Potential candidates must have a proven technical background in either:
Electrical / electronic systems with a focus on control, instrumentation and / or Power Distribution.
Or: Hydraulic / Mechanical Systems, with a focus on fluid power systems in a marine environment.
Successful applicants will be based in Windermere although both national and international travel is a requirement to deliver training and assessment at our client locations throughout the world. The review and development of technical training and assessment material is also a requirement within the role.
Experience and / or professional qualifications in instructional and assessment techniques
would be desirable and further professional development will be provided.
In addition to the above the successful candidates will have:
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A pro active and flexible approach to work
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
• Fully conversant in all Microsoft Office packages, in particular Powerpoint
