Business Support Services - Trainer/Assessor - Circa £18-20k pa
Based across all three centres in Carlisle, Ulverston and Workington, we are looking for a Business Support Services Trainer to deliver a number of courses in administration. Candidates must hold a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ in Administration to deliver technical certificates and assess NVQ's in the workplace. Previous teaching experience is not essential as full training will be given however candidates must be prepared to work towards attaining a teaching qualification.
Electrical & Instrumentation Assessor/Tutor - Circa £26-28k pa
We are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Assessor/Trainer, based at Workington to deliver, assess and support a number of our electrical and instrumentation engineering courses. The candidate must have a minimum level 3 qualification, a minimum of three years' experience in industry and have a good knowledge in electrical & instrumentation engineering principles.
Technical delivery Tutor - Mechanical Engineering - Circa £26-31 pa
Based at Workington, we are looking for a Technical Delivery Tutor with a minimum of a HNC in their engineering area, to deliver technical certificates. Industry experience is preferred but not mandatory. Previous teaching experience is not essential as full training will be given. However the candidate must be willing to work towards attaining a teaching qualification. Other duties will include, teaching up to and including level 3, designing bespoke Technical Training Courses, supervising and assisting students, developing learning materials, and to participate in the administration and marking of exams and other assessments.
Lecturer in Mechanical Design Engineering - Circa £25-33 pa
Based at our Lillyhall Skills Centre, this is a vacancy for a Lecturer in Mechanical Design Engineering, with particular emphasis on the application of computer aided design (CAD) methods. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching, project supervision, curriculum development, research and knowledge transfer across a range of topics including solid mechanics, materials science, thermo-fluid mechanics, energy and electro-mechanical principles.
